Lock and unlock using codes, keys, or a Zwave automation controller. Each family member can have their own code to unlock the door instead of carrying around keys that can get lost or misplaced. Give codes to friends, staff, daycare, or cleaners and delete or change the code when you wish to remove their access.
This lock includes a Zwave Plus communication module, allowing it to work with any Zwave certified Zwave or Zwave Plus controller. Yale Assure Zwave Plus Locks are supported by Vera, SmartThings, Homeseer, Hometroller, Alarm.com, Helix IGM, Wink and many other systems. As part of a smart home system you'll be able to take advantage of additional features like remote locking and unlocking, checking lock status remotely, or even adding, removing and changing user codes anytime and anywhere! Get an email or text alert when someone unlocks the door or tampers with it and create events that happen when the door is unlocked, like turning on lights or even enable geo fencing so the lock can be unlocked when you get home. (Note: these features rely on the feature set supported by your home automation controller).
