The system uses wireless sensors and keypad(s) to make installation simple and connects to your home or office WiFi or wired network to provide remote arming/disarming status and notifications in case of an alarm. The new Generation 2 Ring Alarm includes a newly designed keypad and sensors — both Generation 1 and 2 keypads and sensors may be used to expand the system. Free iOs and Android apps provide peace of mind with no monthly or set-up fees.
You’ll be able to see alarm status, arm and disarm the alarm, and get alerts through your smartphone. Every member of your household or small business can use the Ring app for the security system, which also supports the Ring video doorbell and Ring cameras for a complete Ring of Security around your home.
This kit comes with the alarm base station, keypad, door/window sensors, motion sensor and wireless range extender. The alarm has a built in 104dB siren. An additional Dome DMS01 siren may also be added (sold separately). The Ring Alarm can also act as a smart home hub and works with select ZWave devices so you can use the app to control lights and locks. The Ring Alarm is compatible with Zwave locks from Weiser, Yale, and Danalock. It also supports Z-Wave Light switches and plugs from GE, Jasco, Leviton.
